FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. Should I take private or group lessons?
A COMBINATION OF GROUP AND PRIVATE LESSONS IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO LEARN TO DANCE.
Private lessons... one on one with the instructor.  You can work at your own pace.  All of the teachers focus is on you.  Private instruction teaches you how to make the steps look and feel good.
Group lessons... one teacher with many students.  Great way to learn new steps and meet new people.  They are an inexpensive way to round out your dancing experience.

2.  How long are the lessons?
Lessons are 45 min long each.

3.  What should I wear?
Dress comfortably as you will be moving around.  Some people like to dress up a bit to make it special.  Try to stay away from jeans as they are restrictive to movement.  The choice of shoes is most important.  Rubber soled shoes are very difficult to dance in.  Ladies--stay away from backless shoes!  Basically, come in wearing what you would be going out dancing in!!

4.  How much does it cost?
We offer a complimentary class to let you get to know our studio and to see how much fun dancing can be.  There are many packages to choose from for both private and group classes.  We will tailor a package that fits both your needs and your budget.   You can get started with a beginners package for as little as $200 for private instruction.

5.  Do I need a partner?
NO!  If you take private instruction, your instructor will be your partner.  In group classes, we alternate partners throughout the class.

6.  Do I need experience?
NO!  We can teach someone with no dance experience to dance a few steps by the end of the first lesson.  You will be amazed at how quickly you can learn.

7.  Where will I be learning?
You will be sharing a ballroom with other students and their teachers learning at the same time.  This teaches you to dance socially while people are watching or moving around you.
