A Group Class is one instructor teaching a group of students (between six and twenty people). Each class is one hour long. They are usually grouped into a "Series", each class meeting once a week for three to six weeks. We offer many levels of classes, all listed below, in wide range of dances, from Cha Cha to Waltz to Country 2 Step. We also hold Workshops, one hour intensives on a specific dance focusing on steps , style, and technique.
Group classes are a fun, social, inexpensive way to learn new moves, try a new dance, or brush up on your technique. No partner is necessary! We frequently rotate partners during class, giving you the opportunity to learn to lead and follow with many different people (a great social dancing skill to have!). Group classes are best used in conjunction with private lessons, as they solidify what you're learning in a easy-going, social environment.
